The Cut Masterz is a barber shop owned and operated by Janery Olivero, doing business as The Cut Masterz. This page documents how customers opt in to our appointment text messages.

Opt-in happens inside our own iOS and Android app, not on a website, so there is no public sign-up URL. This page shows the exact screens a customer sees. The app is free and no login is required to reach these screens beyond entering one’s own phone number.

The consent language shown to every customer

By continuing, you agree to receive text messages about your appointment. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.

The walk-in tablet shows the same disclosure, worded for the walk-in list. Both link to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

Where it appears

1. The app. The Cut Masterz app, from which every appointment is booked. Customers install it free; no account is needed to reach the screen below.

2. Enter your phone number. The customer types their own mobile number. The SMS consent disclosure and the links to our Terms and Privacy Policy are on the same screen, above the fold. A one-time code sent to that number must be entered before any appointment can be booked.

3. Join the walk-in list. On a tablet at the shop, the customer types their own name and number. The disclosure sits directly above the button, and a one-time code sent to that number must be entered before they are added to the list.

What we send after opt-in

No marketing or promotional messages are sent. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, HELP for help. Mobile numbers are never shared or sold — see the Privacy Policy.
